My Camera Bag

Below is a list of my starting gear for this project. As I upgrade gear, I’ll edit this page, but I hope to always keep a list of my starting gear.

Gear

My camera is by no means new. In fact, I think it’s almost 7 years old now – but it does the job, and well if I use it properly. I have a Canon Rebel XT. I bought it in a kit with a stock 18-55mm lens that doesn’t really have the aperture I’d like now, however has done the trick over the past few years.

I also have a Tamron 70-300 telephoto lens. It was used when purchased, and a wonderful gift from my parents.

Finally, I have a gorgeous Vera Bradley camera bag. It’s not great for someone with loads of accessories, but with one camera and one additional lens, I’m doing just fine.

Software

I own Adobe Creative Design Suite. In another aspect of my life I design graphics, illustrations, presentations, portfolios, etc. as well as take classes and teach them in some of the programs. As such, I’ll be using Photoshop, Bridge, and Camera Raw quite a bit.

I have about 4-6 CD’s with keys for Photoshop Elements ranging from 6 to the most current version. I may or may not use it, depending on how curious I am.
soon…), and I have a Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II Inkjet Photo Printer that I recently aquired for printing graphic designs that I’ve created and sell in my Etsy shop.I use a Spyder to calibrate my monitor (which I desperately need to run that again
